For the protection of the client, as well as the therapist, a code of conduct has been enacted. This provides for the ethical conduct of both client and therapist, as well as any staff members.
- All clients must fill out an in-take form which includes a brief medical history. Any condition the client suffers from that may contra-indicate massage will be discussed with the client, as well as their physician, if they so choose. Any condition present that may pose a threat to the client's well being in conjunction with massage will mean the massage must be canceled or rescheduled when the client is cleared by a physician.
- All client medical information is kept strictly confidential, seen only by the therapist administering the massage. All client financial records are also confidential.
- First visits should arrive 30 minutes prior to appointment to allow time for an initial health assessment. Subsequent appointments, please, arrive 15 minutes prior to allow for health information update, as well as time to change and begin the relaxation process.
- We recommend that you leave your jewelry at home and bring a case for your contact lenses.
- Clients are expected to conduct themselves in an appropriate manner. Any sexual advances made toward the therapist or any other staff members will result in termination of the session.
-24 hours notice is required for cancellation. If not we reserve the right to charge for the full amount of the scheduled service.
- This is your time to relax and escape. Please turn your cell phone and pager off. Leave your children at Grandma's. If you like chatting during your session, we'll chat. But if you prefer to relax in silence, we want you to feel comfortable doing so.
- We want your massage to be a one of a kind experience for you. We encourage you to bring along any CD that you find relaxing. (even if it's Metallica) Your personal relaxation is our main goal and music plays an important role.
